Hi There from Nina! We're all waiting anxiously with with coffee cups filled and minds ticking, wanting to see hwo this darn DotNetNuke 3.0 release is going to work! And why the delays... I mean, it was supposed to be November 1, and we're a couple of weeks past that and still no joy. However, I can, from an *insiders* perspective, really understand that sometimes you need to evaluate if releasing a product really needs more work. I know for me, it's business as usual while I see the builds coming through and the delay in sending out this update has been because I wanted to make sure the information you were receiving was valid and interesting and a definite in DNN 3.0. I'm confident to say that it's all coming together well, and those guys who are doing the coding have been burning the midnight oil, with some of the builds being done at 3 and 4 in the morning. Again, KUDO's to those guys who get it all happening and being part of this is such a privelige. I've been working on the skins and icons - making DNN 3.0 a slick, neat looking product that even the fussiest person would have to give some credit for it's look and feel. The current status is the continuation of the code stabilisation and finetuning the localisation and file reorganisation. I think it's been the biggest step yet, more so than creating the ability to skin, (which I'm totally biased to of course as it's given me a reason to not sleep) | some things I can tell you about | | | The Data Import Feature (Animation)
