Since DotNetNuke has it's own favourites icon in the root folder of the site, lots of people ask via email and on the forums, so here's how to do it, it's very simple, as long as you've got file saved in a square .gif format for best results...

Changing Background Colors on Containers by xdadmin
I created a single file - I think it still could do with some work, but they are available for download from the front page - just under the survey page.

Because I wanted to keep the file sizes down, I have created a single css file and 6 colours in the containers with smaller head room and padding. Read more on how to change the background colours.

There are some changes required to make a DNN skin work nicely from 2.1.2 >> 3. While the upgrade path has been relatively generous, a few simple changes can help tie the look of the site and the administration section together nicely.

On the following pages are changes needed to the ASCX file and the CSS file to bring it all inline.

There is a link to the MacMe for DNN2 & DNN3 which you can open and see the examples. I have added a search feature, added the controlpanel pane and added some elements in CSS to make this happen.
