Well, this week has been busy with new staff on and doing some complicated designs, well, mainly ones that make you think twice because you initially lay them out, and then have to revisit due to the fact the pages/content doesn't fall like it should.
I've been working on some really nice Catalook layouts and templates for clients and working with the 3.98 build as well as doing some skins for new 3.2.5 build of DotNetNuke using Jon Hennings menu. I want to tell you how exciting this build is..

The new 3.2.5 build is interesting with some of the cool things I've noticed including user management and page copy features.  I've added a few images here, but you can easily see just how much thought has gone into this.

Tomorrow I'll add some more details but those who want to register on http://www.dnnbeta.com - i'll set you up with a look around.. I think you'll be impressed!!   Register if you want to have admin access setup tomorrow.

Re: Checking out the new DNN 3.2.5 build in vault..

Thanks very much for this early look. You have taken the effort to share early information with us so many times. It demonstrates both an Empathy and insight into our position out here.

Your words and your work are greatly appreciated.

Well, I think sometimes the silence of many of the developers on the core team is simply that they are so involved in actually getting code done. I know Charles worked in this area for a long time. I would hope in the very near future, I can give you more information on a regular basis, now that I've got more staff on hand to help me with my work stuff. But you know, I have to wait nearly as long as everyone else, since I need compiled code. But I suppose every little bit of news helps in keeping people informed where possible.

Hi Rick - I'll ask but I've not heard any specific dates - I think they're giving this a longer beta test because of the new changes, but I'll ask around - however, they're always elusive to make sure everyone gets a fair go on planning their releases. I think they want to give the benefactors an opportunity to test the builds as well to make sure it's been more thoroughly tested than previously.

I know this is the first time that non core team users have had access to code, eg. the paying benefactors get access to the beta releases, and this is proving to be very successful in flushing out the bugs much faster.

I'll keep you posted.
